Depends from show to show. On premise based shows, writing is king, on scripted shows it’s more about technical ability. Without knowing what position you’re storyboarding for I can’t give any specific advice… just be funny and show off all your strengths!

Here’s a fun thing- Gregg (from “Caveman”) was named Jeff in the original pitch. I kept forgetting to change things to the new name, and ended up handing in the final board with a “Jeff” still present. Mike Roth drew up this stunning piece in response.
